Mahns got almost all of this one at the challenging par 4 4th at Bougle Run.
Keegan Bradley staged a thrilling (for some) comeback to win the Travelers Championship, rallying from three shots behind with four holes to play. He birdied the final hole for a 2-under 68, finishing at 15-under 265 and securing a $3.6 million victory in a PGA Tour signature event.
Bradley's win strengthened his case to not only captain but potentially play in the upcoming Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, as he moved to No. 9 in the standings. It was his second win in 10 months, following the BMW Championship. Tommy Fleetwood, who had a chance to win his first PGA Tour event, faltered late, missing key putts and three-putting the 18th for a bogey to finish one stroke back. This is going to be a hard pill for Tommy Boy to swallow. Russell Henley also finished one shot behind after a clutch birdie chip-in, despite having called a penalty on himself earlier in the tournament.
Bradley’s memorable final stretch included a 35-foot birdie on 15 and a near-perfect approach to set up the winning birdie on 18, thrilling the home crowd with chants of "USA! USA!" on a scorching day. Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy tied for sixth, three shots back.
Bradley, who turned 39 this month, delivered a dramatic win exactly one year after being asked to be Ryder Cup captain—leaving open the possibility he may play as well as lead.
As expected there are great scores this week (aside from Team Powelly who had a Sav Rocca!) Smails led all comers for the 2nd week in a row, 42 points jump in with Fleetwood and Henley t2, Cauley, Spaun and Fox added 3 each.
Scotty has leapt into 2nd place with a 34 point haul. The Fidget Spinner Keegers adding 20 with the win, McIlroy 6, MacIntyre 3 and 5 more singles. Mahns is sticking close to the money spots with 22, Day and Glover top 10's, Rai and An top 25's his best. 19 for our leader Muff, JT and Harris English both booting 6 pointers while Mav McNealy added 3 more from long range.
